The 2019 Dodge Journey is a 7-seater SUV with all the fixings. With many modern technological advancements like all-wheel drive, heated steering wheel, and the well-renowned Uconnect infotainment system, the Dodge Journey is one of the most advanced vehicles on the road. In 2019, Dodge has simplified the Journey to three trim levels, which offers consumers more choice than ever before! Each of these trims comes with different safety and comfort features, all of which we will cover in this article. Let's get started!

SE
The base-level SE comes standard with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 173 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque that paring with a four-speed automatic transmission. While front-wheel drive is the standard, the SE has an option of an all-wheel-drive system that comes with a 3.6-liter V6 which provides 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Also coming standard on the SE are 17-inch steel wheels, foglights, roof rails, heated side mirrors, and a height-adjustable drivers' seat. Technological advancements such as keyless ignition and entry, a rearview camera, and a six-speaker sound system are also included on the SE. If you don't want to go through and select options, there are packages available like a Connectivity package which includes Bluetooth, satellite radio, and voice commands, the Comfort/Convenience package that give you a cloth upholstery and power-adjustable driver's seat, or the Blacktop package that includes 17-inch alloy wheels and a blacked-out exterior trim.

Crossroad
When you move up to the Crossroad trim, you get a Premium package that combines the Connectivity Package and the Comfort/Convenience Package and adds 19-inch wheels, a touring-tuned suspension, leather upholstery, and an upgraded 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Optional features include remote start, heated front seats, a rear-seat entertainment system and a Driver Convenience package that includes rear parking sensors and a universal garage door opener. Like the SE, the Crossroad comes standard with the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that can be upgraded to the 3.6-liter V6 with the six-speed automatic transmission.

GT
The top trim is the GT, and it provides you with all the options that the Crossroad has with 19-inch wheels and an upgraded suspension while providing options like a trailer-preparation package. Unlike the SE and the Crossroad, the GT comes standard with the 3.6-liter V6 with all-wheel drive.

With a bevy of different packages and a ton of unique features, the 2019 Dodge Journey provides you with more options than ever before! The two available engines provide more than enough power for the average driver, and the addition of all-wheel drive gives you enough traction for anything that comes your way.
